1. A Guide
to Understanding Peritoneal Dialysis
This set of Teaching Cards contains
6 double-sided color 8.5" x 11" laminated cards with both easy to
understand wording and over fifty graphic illustrations.
Laminating allows for easy bedside
use as they can be wiped off with damp cloth.
The cards are held together by a
releasable ring which enables the flexibility of bringing some or
all of the cards to the bedside. The posters are 12" x 18" large
font, full-coloured and laminated.

Understanding Medications with Kidney Failure.
This set of cards begins with a discussion
of the need for medication in renal failure and factors to consider
when taking medications with renal failure. Each of these topics

5. Principles
of Dialysis
This poster provides a graphic representation
of an artificial kidney.
A line down the middle illustrates
this artificial kidney, with openings throughout the image portraying
the semipermeable membrane. One side of the line is the blood
side and the other side of the line is the dialysate side.
This representation of the artificial
kidney is suitable to demonstrate either the principles of a dialyzer
or a peritoneal membrane.
