This is a 12" x 18" large font, full-coloured
poster with graphic representation of the human kidney.
There are three pictures on this
poster.
1. The gross anatomy of the renal
system depicting the relative position of the kidneys in the body
in a cartoon figure.
- kidneys, ureters, bladder and
urethra
2. The kidney cut in longitudinal
section.
- Renal capsule, pyramid, pelvis,
medulla, cortex, papilla and ureter
3. The nephron
- Bowmans capsule, glomerulus proximal
and distal convoluted tubule, ascending and descending limb, and
collecting duct.
The poster is laminated with a 5-mm
laminate to allow for easy cleaning.
It is appropriate for use by renal
professionals in a predialysis, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis,
clinic or office setting.
